This week I read I survive the titanic 1912. Now" if you could get yourself and the children ready. I'll be back in just a moment to see if you need any help". In this section there were so many children and the person wanted to get them ready to by the life boats.
I think that it was smart that this person was so organized. I think the atmosphere was cold and confusing because of the commotion and the weather.

One night George had a plan, that wasn't a good one. He wanted to go down to the baggage area of the ship. He was told there was a crate in first class with a mummy in it. So many things went threw his mind, he was thinking there could so many things that could be in there. He knew that he would get in trouble if he got caught, so he waited till everyone went to sleep. He had to be very quite while he walked down to the baggage area. In his mind he knew that his aunt would be upset with him, he likes to not listen to rules . He finally got there and walking around and he found it, he tried to open it and he felt that something was going to jump out at him. Then out of the blue someone tapped him on the shoulder and said what are you doing down here? He got so scared and ran away. Later on he went back to see what was in there to his surprise there was no mummy. So he went back to the room before everyone would get up. As he was going back to bed he heard a lot of people talking in the halls, he thought it was about him so he was scared his aunt was going to get mad. In his gut he felt something was wrong.
Sometimes if George would just listen and follow the rules from adults things would be so much better like this trip. He said that his mind tells him to do these things witch are always right. But let's remember he is only a kid that wants to explore things and they have no fear about what can happen. He knows the trip is almost over and there is so much more for him to see in his mind. P.S there was no mummy. The first nite on the ship they met a man at dinner, his name was Mr. Andrews. I thought he was going to be a another boring adult, but he wasn't he was the man who designed and built the Titanic. So he sat down and told us all about the the Titanic was at that time the biggest ship on the water it stood fourteen stories high it was as long as four city blocks. People were told it was the safest ship ever built. After dinner we went and looked at the blue prints of the the Titanic, which was so cool. It tought us so much about the in and out of the ship from stairways , the engine, rooms, and were to go in case it was to sink. After leaving Mr. Andrews we went for a walk with my aunt and as I looked around I saw the amount of life boats, there were not enough boats to save all the guest. That scared me but like they said it was the safest boat on the sea. As the days went on we met so many different friends of my aunt Daisy, but one nite at dinner a gentlemen had came up to our table to say hi. As my aunt and him started talking,he asked what brought you on this fine Journey? I wanted my nephew and my niece to enjoy this amazing ship. This is a great experience for them to see all the different ways of life under one roof. Back then so many people could not afford this luxury of a vacation especially on the Titanic. The ship being some what divided into the rich , middle class and then the workers, really opened my eyes on how people should be seen and treated the same. |
